Blackbirds Singing in The Dead of Night


Well, okay, maybe it's not actually the dead of night in this painting, but the Beatle song title sounded good. I've not been able to paint in my garage studio for weeks because the weather has been just too cold. So, I've been doing little paintings like this one on a makeshift table studio in the only area of my house that is truly warm, upstairs.

I really like this painting! :)

My Nanny always pointed out the blackbirds in the backyard when we were running around and playing, so blackbirds have a special place in my heart!

Hopefully you are keeping warm!

Thanks Katie! I like blackbirds a lot too. Though this is a tiny painting, I'd like to do a big one with lots of blackbirds.

Hope YOU are staying warm too! Finally it's getting back in to 70's - YAY!
