Along The Indian River

     I painted this today on site in Vero Beach with a group of plein air painters led by Lori McNamara. I've been working very hard lately to be able to finish a painting in one sitting. This is difficult for me , because I like to add layers to my paintings as each one dries. I have to admit that I did a bit more on the painting when I got home. There were lots of water birds around today too, but I didn't put any in the painting. Maybe I still will add one or some. It was beautiful outside weather today in the 80's, but typical of Florida, tomorrow it will drop 20 degrees with a stiff north wind. I'm glad we painted today! This painting is 6 x 8 inches, oil.
