Since I'm continuing with my watercolor shell studies, I chose this cowrie that I found around 30 years ago. It's still just as shiny and beautiful as the day I found it. When the weather gets warmer, and yes we have cold weather in Florida, I'll be able to open up my diningroom studio and get back to using my oils again.

I found one of these too, oh gee probably 40 some years ago, it was after a storm and I went to the beach with my dad. Around where the stumps used to be on south beach. Nice painting and nice to remember!
